Why I built this

I have waited for GTA 6 for over a decade, and I want to actually live the story when it lands, not have it handed to me in pieces by a stranger. But the moment the trailers started, so did the leaks: datamined maps, ripped cutscenes, and one person in every comment section spoiling a character you have not even met yet.

I have been in this fandom a long time. Years ago I ran RockstarBase.com, one of the bigger GTA fan communities on the internet. So when the leaks started up again and I still could not find a blocker that understood the difference between real news and a datamine, I built one myself, in proper Vice City style.

Flamingo Away is free, runs entirely in your browser, and tracks nothing. Think of it as my gift to the community that has been waiting exactly as long as I have. We earned an unspoiled launch.

It lives in the same world as Cynical Sally, the brutally honest AI critic I build at Lifthill Studio. Sally even wrote the full playbook on dodging spoilers.

How it works

Discipline you do not have to remember.

Real-time shielding

Spoilers get covered the instant they render, before your eyes ever reach the thumbnail, title or comment.

Smart matching

It knows the difference between an official reveal and a leak, so real news gets through and datamines get blocked.

Three shield levels

Leaks Only, Story Safe, or Total Blackout. Dial in exactly how careful you want to be.

Your own keywords

Add any character name, mission or meme the moment it becomes a spoiler risk. Unlimited, instant.

A spoiler counter

Watch the number of dodged spoilers climb. Quiet proof it is doing its job while you scroll.

100% local

Everything runs in your browser. No account, no tracking, no analytics, nothing leaves your machine.

Where it shields

The places spoilers actually hide.

Part of the Cynical Sally universe

One studio, one flamingo, one very opinionated AI.

Flamingo Away is the automatic guard at the door. Cynical Sally is the critic who wrote the manual. Her spoiler survival guide (how to dodge every GTA 6 spoiler, and every mistake people make trying) lives on her GTA 6 hub in 19 languages, and Flamingo Away is the tool it recommends.

Spoiler-free FAQ

How do I avoid GTA 6 spoilers?

Mute the keywords, stay off the leak communities, and let a spoiler blocker cover the surfaces you cannot police yourself. Flamingo Away handles that last part automatically on YouTube, Reddit, X and Google.

Is Flamingo Away free?

Yes. It is a free Chrome extension with no account and no tracking. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Where does it block GTA 6 spoilers?

YouTube thumbnails, titles and comments, Reddit posts and threads, X posts and trends, and Google results, plus an Everywhere mode for any other site.

Will it hide official GTA 6 news too?

Only if you want it to. Smart matching lets official reveals through and blocks leaks, and you pick the shield level. Story Safe is the recommended balance.

Stop relying on willpower. It already lost.

Install Flamingo Away, pick Story Safe, and forget it is on. The leaks disappear before your eyes reach them.
